... at Spokes One in Alex, VA.

got a shimano 10 pitch hash group on e-bay a while back, and a little more. so got a Vivelo frame.

so got another shimano 10 pitch group to finish the first out. now have two complete groups, and then some. so got another Vivelo, i mean doesn't good luck come in pairs.

the first chain, just by chance, went on great (well, with a little fidgeting around). the second more nos chain was way more thicker in the side plates (where there two versions in this short lived group?)

anyway to cut to the chase, Old Bill dremels out a standrad chain rack take-off thing, and then spent some time machining out that pusher-into piece in alum, with a hole in it. this Bill is one proud mech.

i said Bill, "i'm tapped out of this stuff". his reply, "yes, but i'm ready for the next one now".

he's not there saturdays, but it kind of reminded my of "Bob" from the back pages of Winning years ago.

he loves to build wheels and holds classes on same at the shop. maybe one day we'll surprise them with some bivalents.
