.... was looking through a 1953 program for the Earl's court show and caught the following bit from the Hetchin's booth.
"on the stand will be Hetchin's latest export model - a special "Magnum Opus" for an enthusiast in Washington, USA." which cost 83 pounds and change.
.... a "very special" Jack tandem was out at 90 pounds. at that time, top flight racing stuff was out at 16-20 pounds. wonder who that Hetchins buyer was :)
