That is true, at least if you believe the PR copy that appeared on the frames. I owned one, and remember that being stated on the frame somewhere. I gave the bike to my brother-in-law, who unfortunately passed away, so the bike is still in a garage in Wisconsin and I'll retrieve it someday. I always thought these frames were very nice and also quite interesting, in that they were certainly outside the convention of the era. Nice chrome and tasty graphics and colors. A bit flashy, like other Italian frames of the era, but in a very artistic way. In fact, that's how I see these frames, as being very artistically constructed. These frames also did not use conventional seat post binders, but rather special wedged posts (Campy on the one I had). I hope that this in not too far off topic, since they are not lugged (although many had lugged BBs), but these frames occupy an interesting niche.
