Hi.

First an intro. My name is Bob English and I now live in Dallas, TX (home o f Southwest Frameworks). I've been reading the Classic Rendezvous archives off and on for a while (I subscribe to another bikelist list) and own several on-topic bikes. I just wanted to respond to this question. Several years ago I had Dave restore an on-topic Ciocc and Colnago. The work was ex cellent. The Ciocc was badly crashed and he did all the repairs in house and it came out looking a nd riding showroom fresh. I can't recommend him highly enough. He was extremely easy to work with and kept me well informed as to the progress via e-mail. I can't be happier with the quality of his work . Right now I'm on the waiting list for a new road frame, due sometimes this winter. He usually gi ves seasons rather than months for frame completion but it's well worth the wait. Living in Dallas it's a real treat to be able to stop by his shop occasionally and drool over the cool bikes and frames.

I am wondering if anyone has dealt with this small Dallas bike builder and repair person. I'd be very interested in your opinion of the quality of work performed there.

Thanks all,

Tom Sanders
