Jim,

I remember a few of those Auto Fast Freight/ Carlsbad Bicycle Club meeti ngs in the front office at the Masi Factory on Avenida Encinas in Carlsb ad. I don't remember anything exciting happening; but I do remember the meetings.

I rode for Carlsbad Bicycle Club from '75 through '78. The club was unsponsored in '75 and '76, Auto Fast Freight came on board in '77 or '78. Yes, it was located on the same road as the Masi factory.

We had our club meetings in the front room at the Carlsbad Masi factory and occasionally we went into the back. I've got some good stories from that time.

Jim, I remember you and Craig Webber from the Escondido club. Since you were the only active racers in the Escondido club, you guys were invited to our annual beach party.
