My two cents on Paramount lugs. My '79 Paramount did not have chrome lugs.
To quote from the 1978 brochure, page 5: "All current Schwinn colors except full chrome. Single rider models have chrome plated front and rear fork end slots. Head lugs chrome plated at extra cost." That would be nine colors offered. (ten if you include "Holiday Rose" - pink!)
The 1979 brochure lists five colors offered, and does not mention chrome.
OK, three cents.
