Hi Dale

Sorry no pictures of a seemingly long gone accessory I 'm sad to say. But m y Holdsworth Bike Riders Aids show the Campag as early as 1964 but they wer e available from some of the bigger cycle traders during the 1950's . The e arlier ones made of various materials such strong cotton/canvas with a webb ing shoulder strap and waist strings to stop the bag from slipping away fro m ones back . The last I saw them being used were supplied by Ron Kitchen i n the late 1970's. Many of the bigger clubs in the UK had them made up with the club name/badge printed on them. The Club folk always referred to them with the nickname "bonk bags"!

Hope you have some luck in getting support of members to make up a record i n pictures. Sounds a good idea. Perhaps fellow member Paul Williams should add these items to his list of accessories he was seeking last evening!

Best wishes
