Mike, Perhaps I've misunderstood as to whether this is Pascal Simon's actual bike? I don't know what Pascal Simon rode in 1984, and even during 1983 he must have used several bikes. For example, Peugeot might have given him a plain looking frame for the Dauphiné Libéré, and saved the frame with the "special insignias" for the Tour. Anyway, if you get a copy of the big book published by L'Equipe, "Tour de France, 100 Ans", there are several pictures of Simon and his bicycle during the Tour de France. But what he rode in 1982, 1984 - or even the remainder of 1983 - is a mystery to me :-) Best regards, Fred Rednor; Arlington, Virginia (USA)
