all NR pista bbs I've seen have thin cups with no rifling.. spindles would be marked 'P' and overall length = 109mm

i believe SP spindles with shield logo would be C-record either strada or pista as you note.. overall length 111mm i think, but these came with alloy cups that used smaller bearings than the standard 1/4".. i cant recall the size offhand (7/32" probably ??) but not interchangeable with NR cups

not sure what you are noticing with the 'flanges but the differences between the NR and C-record races should be apparent when examined side by side
