I believe the Pantone charts are mostly used in the Printing (ie Ink) world. They are not cheap to buy - but invaluable when you're working with printers. A pdf version is here - but likely is quite useless because the monitor you use to look at this, or the printer you use to print this... will NOT match up with the true Pantone colors: http://www.pantone.com/downloads/inkjetsolutions/downloads/pdfs/ColorChart.pdf

My pantone chart (they're really 'chips') also have a web 'html' color equivalent, with the chip color printed next to it - and I see that even these are NOT exact matches to the true Pantone color.

Paint folks I've talked with don't use Pantone systems. Decal makers - thats another, more complicated, story !!!

(to my totally untrained eye, Pantone 7413PC reminds me of Holdsworth orange... but industry painters will totally dispel that theory !!)
