I think it is is a typing mistake which occurs when you use an european computer keybord setup on a an american ebay listing. It is a mixup between the "," and the "." keys. When I bid i an german auction I use "," to seperate the decimals. If I do this in an american auction like 30,00 I get a bid of 3000.00 as a result. That happend to me twice and left me hoping nobody typed in another offer until I could retract my bid. Might be the same when setting up the auction. The sellers other auctions have reasonable shipping prices.

About 10 years ago, I advertised a bike for $3500 with a free Mercedes station wagon thrown in. It worked. I sold the Mercedes, guy didn't want the bike.
