Marty, Peugeot Junior Racers were fairly common around here but were equipped differently. 2 chainrings and no fenders,rear rack, generator or lights. Looking at some old group ride photos it looks like the tires were significantly narrower than the 1-3/8" Hutchinsons on my son's 24" wheel Follis. Maybe Michelin 50s. Looks in the photos like the rings were 1/2 step while the Folis was a sensible 46-36.
