Hello John and Dale -
Thanks for the thoughts about the Trek logo!
The plot thickens - here is a list of the current possibilities: a fountain, a sheaf of wheat , a road opening up before you (Dale's input and that of one other), and a road vanishing in the distance.
The {quot}vanishing in the distance{quot} comes from a Trek employee who recalls the original headbadges had the logo stamped upside down by error. Too late to change it - so they ran with what they had.
John - I certainly can can see why Continental Airlines was concerned. The logos are virtually the same - down to the each having five lines - just rotated 90 degrees.
Cheers,
Skip
