I had the same problem with the seat tilting constantly, also a single bolt SR post on a Colnago Super. Mine would tilt up because I had the seat all the way back. The bike shop I bought it from said that Campy responded to complaints by adding a washer to the top bolt. I found out about it when I had to replace the stripped crown piece. Once I got the washer on it, the seatpost crown stopped slipping. Notice that the e-bay post doesn't have a washer. I still have to tighten that bolt far beyond what I would normally consider proper tightness to get the seat still.

Happy trails,

Am I just fortunate? I have heard of people who have had S/R seatposts slip, but I've used one for years with no such problem. Were posts produced in some years better than others?
