Richard, Primus Stoves were the top of the line in lightweight collapsible White Gas (Coleman fuel) burning cooking stoves. They were used on Arctic and Everest expeditions as well as backpacking and cycle-touring for decades. I had one derivative Optimus 123R unit which broke completely down to a cylinder 6" by maybe 3.5" diameter which included, the fuel reservoir, a ventilated, cylindrical, stamped brass wind screen, the upper burner plates and even an aluminum 16 ounce cup which could be used on the burner. It all weighed only around 1 pound.
