Subject: [CR]need a Mafac part...

I picked up my Bertin C37 (?) rescue project yesterday, and it has a broken brake lever handlebar clamping band on one side. The brakes are Mafac Competitions, the levers are simply Mafac (did Racewrs and Competitions use the same lever?)...with the bikini hoods (which I also need, if anybody has some supple tan ones (black are readily available on eBay, but they're seemingly not so plentiful in gum)).

Does anybody have a spare one of these clamp bands sitting around that I could purchase? Does anybody know of a good source for half-hoods in the tan color?

This bike, as it turns out, is in pretty darn good shape, with very few miles on it (under the years of dirt). The Huret Jubliee setup is very beautiful. I pulled the ugly rear rack, broke off the crusty foam handlebar crud, and removed the insanely-stupid injection-molded independent-cheek seat the previous owner had adorned (cursed) this thing with (trying to make it into a comfort bike, I presume, but actually ruining it for pretty much any purpose).

I'll post some pics once I get it cleaned up some. It has a really bad case of what I'm assuming is attic or carport grime.
