I have a question that someone may be able to answer. I have a \u201981 Peugeot PXN-10E (you can see it on my wooljersey page), that came with all French parts (per the manufacture\u2019s brochure), except for the dera illeurs which are Campy NR and the freewheel which is a Regina CX. Initial ly I thought the previous owner swapped out the gears, but have since chang ed my opinion. I was looking at the Simplex rear drop out today and notice d original frame paint in the threading on the derailleur hanger. Is this possible? Did the early Simplex hangers come pre-threaded? Even if equipp ed with Simplex derailleurs? Did Peugeot offer a model with Campy deraille urs in \u201981?
Also, what is the deference between the rear Simplex SLJ and the SLJ 5500 b esides the finish and cable guide/clamp? Titanium bolts?
