In 1981 I was biking around San Francisco and saw a Lotus in Pink and I fell in love with it. I believe it was all Campy and that American Cyclery in SF handled the marque. I never saw another Pink Lotus again, but I remember this one was definitely upper level stuff. There is one on Ebay now, and I always promised myself I would buy one if one appeared in my size. This one has lousy photos, confusing and missing descriptives and the seller has zero feedback. It's being sold in California and the seller also wants a reserve plus 150 shipping! I don't know how to go about this, and I really don't want to be the next victim of an ebay scam. To boot the seller claims its a 1995 bike but I'm almost sure that the company went out of business in 85. Can anyone help me out here with advice. I really want the bike and I haven't bought a bike for my own use in a year. All the others were purchased for turnover profit to finance my hobby habit.
