Pic of the Day 1 July 2007 Stablinski Takes Flight
Jean Stablinski leads during the final kilometer of stage 7, from Belfort to Calon-sur-Saône, during the 1961 Tour de France, but he won't stay out front for long. Instead, he will drop back to the pack, pick-up his teammate Joseph Groussard, then lead-out the sprint, towing Groussard to 2nd place while Stablinski himself wins the stage!
