It was just a matter of time before someone condemned riding no hands as showing off and a dangerous practice. I didn't even know it was illegal in the UK, but then I believe it's illegal in Canada to take both hands off the wheel while driving a car and I do it all the time to put on my sun glasses. Suffice it to say that some people have better riding skills than others and some bikes handle better than others. Nobody is forcing someone else to ride no hands if they feel uncomfortable doing it, nor calling them incompetent. Just don't do it next to an SUV with the driver talking on a cell phone!
