Subject: [CR]Two Restored Vintage Colnagos For Sale

I am listing two more of my flock that need to head down the road. I have many photos of each that are available upon request.

Fully Restored, Pantographed Colnago Super:

This bike is from the Alan Bernstein collection. Bernstein purchased this bike from the original owner in California and had it restored and repainted by Peter Weigel in Molteni orange. It has all original components and is believed to be an early '70's model. Fully pantographed components.

Mavic Oro rims, Nuovo Record drive train, 170 cranks, Brooks Swallow saddle, TTT bar and stem (both Colnago engraved), 36 H High flange hubs, Campagnolo Nuovo Record brakes with drilled, Colnago engraved and painted levers, Colnago engraved Campagnolo seatpost, Colnago engraved and painted shift levers, Colnago branded toe clips, Binda toe straps, 6 speed, Omas headset, Ofmega crankset, custom leather wrapped bars and lever covers. Clement Colnago tires. 52cm c-t.

This is a 'single clover' Colnago. The bike is immaculate and a real show stopper.

$2500, plus a $25 charge for the bike to be professionally packed by a local bike shop for shipping, and actual shipping costs.

Colnago Mexico

I purchased the bike in 2007 and had it completely gone through by a local independent mechanic. The prior owner had done a complete restoration on the bike some years before and had CyclArt refinish it with all new stickers and a beautiful Saronni red paint job. He then retired the bike to display status. 56 cm c-t. Early 80's vintage.

Super Record gruppo (drilled brake levers), Cinelli 63/40 bars, Cinelli stem (8 cm), Mavic 330 tubular rims, 36 spoke, soldered and tied, new brake and shifter cables and housings, and new gum rubber brake lever hoods.

I installed the following parts right after I purchased the bike: NOS Campy NR headset, new Selle San Marco Rolls saddle (with titanium rails and a smooth cover), NOS 7 speed Regina freewheel (13-23), new American made steel rear axle cut to size, 172.5 Record crank (170 crank available), NOS Colnago panto'd 52 SR chain ring (w/42 NR), and 2 NOS Ale chrome bottle cages w/NOS Campy bolts and washers. I have put less than 100 miles on the bike since I acquired it.

$2250, plus a $25 charge for the bike to be professionally packed by a local bike shop for shipping, and actual shipping costs.
