Those are 1970's/early 80's Shimano bosses. They were made for the downtube shifters (pre-indexed) of the Dura Ace EX and AX series, so between 1976 and 1983 to be more exact. NOTHING else fits them--I have tried!

Greetings.........I have one that i'm looking at.....and the shifter braze-ons are something I have never seen before. The threading is for a smaller diameter bolt and the configuration is different w/ a small notch on the forward part of the braze-on. Any guidance suggestions on what to use would be appreciated.
