Of the thirty or so riders at the Cooper City Florida velodrome race no one broke 2 minutes for a mile. I thought that was a shade slower than I had expected (windy?). For the record, two of top 5 riders were riding old steel frames (with carbon fiber fork in one case). There was a $1000 prize money and lots of new fangled high tech super light bikes on display but the old steel still made it near to the top of the heap. Eddy brought back in time could have spanked them all on his old Windsor/Colnago. Greg could have done some spanking too.

Garth Libre in Miami Florida USA who sat this one out because he could have spanked nobody. (My Carabella track bike project is only a set of wheels away from being finished).
