Have a look at this thread:

Another possibility is that it's a Ciocc frame from a boycotted Olympic's (the Eastern bloc teams)

Back in 1987 I bought new a frame set from the Performance Bike shop mail order catalog. The frame was a "house" brand with Performance decals on it. I am wondering if anyone knows who was the original manufacturer. The frame is a very nice Columbus SL with the Columbus dove engraved in the fork crown and top of seat stays. The fork and back half of the stays were chromed. The lugs are cut out with long points. Front and rear drop outs are Campagnolo and the BB is Italian threaded. I know the frame was made in italy but that is about all I know. The frame needs to be restored and I would like to get more info before I begin. Thanks! /Lane Seattle WA
