I have some nice Japanese parts for sale, plus a set of Mavic Module E clincher rims. Here is the list, prices and shipping cost to the US (other countries on request), and an indication of condition. Please have a look a t the pics in my wooljersey album, as usual they're brutally sharp.

*Mid-70s Shimano 1st generation !!! Dura Ace groupset in black. 250 USD, shipping (Priority, insured, trackable) 48 USD.*
· The set is assembled from parts that were on different bikes, s o date codes will vary.
· Brakeset + levers: calipers excellent, hardly any corrosion on steel parts, levers a bit scratched, no hoods. These hoods (NOS) come up on ebay regularly. Toptube cable clips included.
· Front and rear derailleur, gearlevers: derailleurs used but goo d condition (front is clamp-on), gearlevers (clamp-on) excellent condition. Added is a steel outer gear cable.
· Front and rear hub: 36 holes, 125 mm spacing rear hub, for screw-on freewheel; good to very good condition, bearings run smoothly.
· Headset: average condition; since these are steel parts (and no t anodized aluminum), the black is quite 'bleached'. Bearing races are quite worn but still usable, not pitted. Headset is complete with original bearin g ball retainers, new ones are a good idea probably.
· Chainset and bottom bracket set: 170 mm length crankarms, 53 an d 42 teeth chainrings, well used but still in good and usable condition. BB set is BSA, English threaded, well-used again, but not pitted.
Buyer can also choose 120 mm rear hub spacing ( I have another black hub); this one has seen a bit more use and respoking than the 125 one (no pic included).
If wished I will add to this groupset a pair of (well-used!, but with smoot h bearings) KKT Pro-Ace quill pedals (see pics please), in black, to complement this black groupset in Japanese style. And toeclips + straps too , but they will be French ..

· I believe this must be a very rare example, since these are the first black anodized Dura EX brake calipers I have ever seen.
· Condition is excellent.
· The brake levers are not black as you can see in the pics, and a bit scratched. Also the rubber hoods are missing. NOS hoods come up on ebay regularly.

*Shimano Dura Ace AX chainset, complete with DynaDrive pedals. 80 USD, shipping 32 USD*
· They are from January 1980 (date code EA), so they must be one of the first units produced by Shimano.
· The crankarms are in very good condition, with some minor scuff s, The pedal bearings run smoothly. The pedals are complete with the aluminum cages (size L) and the original nylon toestraps.
· Crankarms have a length of 170 mm, the chainrings are 52 and 48 teeth. The chainrings are still in very good condition. These are the older style chainrings, but specific for the AX cranks: please note the asymetric positioning of the little pin that keeps the chain from falling between crankarm and chainring.

· Condition is good, with some corrosion on and around the eyelet s. Decals are a bit crinkled at the edges. They run straight and true, brake flanges are not worn 'hollow'. Please have a look at the pics provided.

· Only part missing is the chainset; I do have the bottom bracket (BSA) but that would bring the weight of the package over 2 kgs, and shipping cost to 48 USD. If so wished I'll include it.
· Seatpost is 27.2 mm, and in nice condition, very light scratchi ng.
· Hubs are 36 holes, bearings run smooth. Rear hub shows signs of forcible removal of freewheel.
· Front and rear derailleur in very nice and original condition, front is clamp-on. Levers excellent too.
· Brake calipers nice condition, non-original brake pads, but original wheelguides. KoolStop Continental (salmon) will do nicely here. Levers are a bit scratched, hoods are missing.
· In general very nice condition, steel parts have no rust.
