The debate long gone on the subject's title and in its transgression it has lead to the debate of members participation and would like to add my humble views.
Since Dale reminded some members of the three a day posting rule the amount of daily mail appears to have dropped and many of the then daily contributors are no longer around. This particular rule although decried by the few must have been welcomed by many of the membership, myself included.
I and many others have at sometime spent time and thought in compiling a subject which they considered interesting only for it seemingly ignored and not worth its while furthering by some sort of debate on or off list. I am sure many members feel the same as I do ,is it really worth it.
Then there is the other side of the coin ,the number of times some of us spend answering questions, helpful advice both on and off list where the recipient cannot bother to answer and say thank you for all your help and time.
I live in hope and expect to see a change in attitudes by some folk to live and abide by the list rules and be thankful we have such a forum at our disposal which costs us nothing. We can gain so much with it but without we lose a lot more !
