[CR]Mounting Dia Compe 450s on studs

A follow up to my WTB from last night (thanks to James for responding!):

Can the 450s (or any Dia Compe centrepulls) be mounted on studs? I have a KOF Velo Orange randonneur frame in the works, and will be using either the Dia Compes or Mafacs. But having a look at the photos of the GC 450s on the CR website, I'm not sure the spring mechanism would allow for mounting on studs.
