<< I'd love it if someone can identify the first bike in the photos. It was my favorite on the ride, but the owner does not know what it is. It looks very familiar to me, but I can't bring to mind the maker. Beautiful lugs, double points on the seat tube, fast back seat stays, English bottom bracket, serial number G6445. Let me know if you know what it is! >>
Well, how interesting. Obviously someone got hold of some Carleton Capella lugs. With that seat stay arrangement, I would almost bet it's a Tim Isaac.? He is around somewhere, anyone know what he's up to??

I rode with my cousin and a friend of his on "Cycle North Carolina" two weeks ago. Second year doing it. Well run, beautiful scenery, about 500 miles over 7 days along with about 1100 other cyclists. From the mountains to the coast.? ?
Saw a number of cool vintage or KOF bikes on the ride. Got photos of some. You can see them here:? ?

Also the most cool recumbent I've ever seen. A very interesting design. Unlike most that have ridiculously long drive trains, this design uses a traditional rear triangle and drive train, turned on its side. You'll need to look at the photos to see what I mean. Called a Cruzbike.? ?
Bikes by Peter Mooney, Glenn Erickson, Bob Jackson, Heron, Rivendell, Waterford, etc. There were several other cool bikes including and all chrome Schwinn, and a Coho (ridden by the builder of Coho bikes), of which I failed to get photos. Also ran into several CR members and folks I've met at the Cirque, such as Bryan and Kendra Luce, of <www.renaissancebicycles.com>.? ?
Cheers!? ?
