Torpado Superlight, in their c.1983 catalog (Bulgier.net), quoted at 18.7
lbs.

Mine is a 52cm from 1984, completely built up with Super Record components, water bottle cage, and somewhat light Nadax FAG bottom bracket, and Fiamme Ergal rims. It weighs in at 19lbs: <http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/fujifish1/MarksVintage/Torpado/Torpado_19 84_Superlight_52PrlBlue/>

Modern bike weights are usually quoted without pedals, I'd think a vintage lightweight might get under 19 lbs without pedals. Pedals, toeclips, and straps probably add up to close to a pound.

that's a really cool PY-10, but I think no bike in the on-topic era weighed less than 19 lbs in its production configuration. In fact, the catalogue page you display on wooljersey actually says (9-9.5 kg), which would be 19.8 - 20.9 lbs.
Can ANY CR members name an on-topic catalogue bike that tipped the scales in the 18 lbs range ?? That's an interesting question for the list.
