Subject: [CR]identifying racing frame 1968 - 1971 used by Andre Desvages - possibly french

I am trying to identify a racing frame that was used by French Racer Andre Desvages I think in the 1968 Tour de France. The maker used a similar logo to Colnago but I have been told it is only in the style of and not a Colnago - it has a diamond in the centre of the C rather than clubs.

Photos are at http://tinyurl.com/4zdhje

The stem matches the frame in that it has the same C stamped on it and has Andre Desvages's name engraved on both sides. The stem also has the french colours stamped on and I have matching campagnolo brake levers with the same stamps on. Andre Desvages stopped racing in 1970/71 so it seems likely this bike was made during the 3 or 4 years of his professional career.

It would be great to have some help with working out the manufacturer and year as this may help me with choosing a colour before a respray.

Cheers,
