... sometimes you want to turn back father time a bit on things like this ...

... anyway, it's maybe 1970, and a fellow up stairs in the apt at wsu (pullman, washington) carrys a bike up and down the stairs, on the shoulder, like a portage, and so did his girlfriend. goodness what i'd give to know what who/what they/those bikes were, where they rode, etc.

... always came back when it started getting dark ... they wore those flashing lights on their arms.
