Greeting

Had several responses and suggestions from about a half dozen list-members from my tale of woe on Sunday. They were all muchly appreciated. Fortunately, I do not have to attempt a repair cause list-member Kevin Kruger generously offered me a 6.5 inch left side fluted Chater Lea crank arm. (In trade for an item yet to be specified).

I received it today and it is either VERY close or identical to the damaged one. His was not really an orphan but half of a mis-matched chainset. So, if any of you have a 6.5 inch non-fluted left side CL crank arm (not the round one), let him know!!

I still have the damaged arm (more or less still in one piece); so if any of you want to try your welding/metal working skills in an effort to make it functional, it is available at no cost.

thanks again for this list!!!!!
