This is a minor variation on Dale's "Can you straighten my rims?" gag.

When I was a kid the bike shop I worked at had a cartoon taped to the side of the cash register. It showed a guy walking out of a bike shop carrying a long tube over his shoulder. There is another guy wheeling his bike into the shop. The guy carrying the tube is saying "What ever you do, don't let these guys straighten your frame!"...

Obviously the guy's frame was not hard anodized...
