The rear ends have a typical design in the way the chain stay are
mitered and joined to the ends which I really appreciate.

I just recently have built up a similar Chromovelato frame for a
friend which had the same treatment but no stickers. It had unique
treatment of the main tubes which had machined braod grooves on the
outside. It was not like the crimping in Gilco-tubing but machined. Can
anybody tell wether this rear end treatment was a typical feature or
signature of frames made by Billato? I know that Billato was (or is?)
one of the biggest outlets for steelframes for other brands in Italy in
the 80ies and until this auction heve never seen one labelled Billato.
So any input will be appreciated.
