I have tried and tried but can find no information on this bike. It has a light weight steel frame with logos that say Romek and Romek Professional. The decal has worn but it appears to be made with Columbus tubing. The number is however not visible. The lug work is pretty clean and the lugs themselves are beautiful. It is a ten speed and the shifters are not indexed. The bike has a Shimano 600 grouping including the hubs, crankset, front and rear derailleurs, brakes, brake levers, and shifters. The chainrings are biopace. The rear cassette is a suntour but im not sure what model number. The rims are mavics but I'm also unsure of the model. The seatpost is a campy as well as the rear dropouts. The stem and the handlebars are nitto. The headset is Shimano 105. The seat is a selle italia. I picked this up at a garage sale and am interested in learning anything i can about it. After a tune up it is one of the smoother, stiffer steel framed roadbikes I have ever ridden. I would be extremely grateful to anyone who can give me some info on this bike or who can point me in the right direction. Thanks so much for your time.

p.s. Here one can find some pictures of the Romek.
