Mike,

Thank you for taking the initiative to get something going. I think that the big bike companies could definitely step up and help.

Also, why not utilize the list of contacts and vendors from the NAHBS to get some help? They would mostly be in the same position as you regarding donat ions, but at this point every bit helps.

We list members can also contribute where possible. Even with the current ec onomy, we should be able to do something, each according to their ability

After all, as cyclists and athletes, it's our heritage and history.

Perhaps at some point we will be able to look back with pride and say that w e helped preserve it for the future.

I suspect on the CR group their are more than a few US bicycle industry insiders.

Can a few of them get off their you-know-whats and donate some serious dolla rs to get the Hall of Fame into some new digs? If 10 major players could donat e 4K per year each, I'll bet that would go a long way towards paying the rent.

And some minor players too perhaps? If some majors can come on board and ge t them close, Rene Herse Bicycles Inc/Boulder Bicycle will happily donate a co uple of thousand thousand. Which is a big amount for us compared with 4K for Tre k, Specialized, Giant, and the rest. Lets all join it!

Just a thought!
