What makes you think the cages are aluminum? They look like the regular steel ones to me.

Those are the first Con Dentis I can recall seeing with either Al alloy cages or O-ring seals. I wonder how old those pedals are? I think Campagnolo went away from the O-ring seals in the '50s.
