While it is relatively easy to find French threaded BB cups, for some reason it is more difficult to find the matching lock rings. But I have discovered that the current production FSA British threaded lockring has such poor tolerances, it can be forced onto a French adjustable cup without too much difficulty:

But before resorting to this, try to find an old, bent up Peugeot at the local flea market, Goodwill store or trash dump. Do you have a bike shop in your vecinity that specializes in used bikes? E.g. a place like this:
