I considered changing my Voyageur from 27" to 700c, but the brake monts are welded on the frame and fork for 27".? How did you do this?? Did you set the bike up as a fixed gear?? The weather in the bay Area is warming up for the weekend, so I'm hoping to get out for a bit.? Take Care.<

Tom, I believe you and Jerry are talking about two different animals. The World Voyageur came with centerpull brakes. Your later Voyageur is set up as a touring bike with cantilever brakes. You would probably have trouble adapting any other wheel size to your frame and use the existing canti stud position. Converting from 27" to 700C or 650B using centerpulls is much easier, especially if you use early Dura Ace or Tourney cp's with miles of brake pad adjustment.
