If you think you are drifting Off Topic, trust your instincts and do not do
it!
Introducing Off Topic threads this way is insidious and grows like a fungus
, with members responding and before you know it we have 20 messages all Of
f Topic! Unacceptable!

o this CR list will result in the auto boot!

I might be drifting off topic here...
Is is possible to use Ergo levers on a conventional 6 speed freewheel? What
could possibly go wrong? Everything?
The question 'why' notwithstanding, has anyone tried this before?

Mr. Kohl has been kind enough to point out the following:

(Dettos,

I would like to add that I had a pair of those Sidis back in the mid 80's.
I loved them, but be warned, that cleat really locks onto your pedal!! Th
ere
is no float whatsoever and I found that adjustment was very critical.
Furthermore, they can be difficult to get out of in a hurry!! I never had
that
"problem" with Dettos or Vittorias.......
Of course you could always remove a bit of the material I suppose???? And
as Mr. Sachs so often reminds us: YMMV
