By using one of those clamps we used when "seat pins" were just pins. No forged clamps on top. Like the clamp holding the Brooks Pro to my Locomotief pin. Just rotate it. Looks like the through bolt could pass either above or below the forward pointing appendage. Instead of in front or in back. (Another thread, from another time.)
