nice addition to the Rene Herse website. Check out the fantastic parts,
Goeland front changer, Maxi-Car hubs, Mephisto rims, Lefol Le Paon mudgaurd
s with beautiful black/gold paint, Goeland constructeur stem. I really like
the lining on this bike, in three colours. New bikes, even the hand-builts
don't seem to achieve most of the time this level of box lining. The linin
g is much thicker, I don't know if that is because of the modern paints, or
the skill of the painters back then.
Still, the finest box lining I have ever seen is on Reyhand bicycles.
