Dear List: Regarding the TA triplizer rings, Peter White of Peter White Cycles usually has lots of TA stuff.  He just got me a 130mm tripilizer ring.  I don' t know about the 144 version, but I'd ask Peter to start.  The 130 seems t o work excellently.

Jay, & CRs:

TA apparently still makes "Competition" model chainrings for the 144 BCD Ca mpy NR/SR cranks. The rings are a bit thinner, to work with modern 7/8 spee d chains, and I've used them successfully. They should work OK with the o lder chains as well. 41 & 42 teeth are available for the inside chainring.

TA also makes very nice chainrings for off-topic cranksets as well.

Here is the TA website:  http://www.specialites-ta.com/index_gb.php

I've found the TA 144 chainrings listed as available thru Bicycle Classics, and Harris Cyclery.

I also found a TA "tripilizer" chainring which will convert a 144 double to a triple:

I'm not sure if this "tripilizer" is still in production.

So, have at it!
