Subject: [CR] Peter Koskinen wins prestigious qward as reported on IBOB

It has been reported on the IBOB List that our own Peter Koskinen has won the prestigious Emma Lazarus Statue of Liberty Award. I have no way of confirming this, but the post goes on to say that "The Emma Lazarus Statue of Liberty Award is given to an American who
> has made a major contribution to improving the human condition. The
> first recipient of the award was Dr. Abraham L. Sachar, founding
> president of Brandeis University. More recently the award has gone to

> Feuerstein, Beverly Sills, Sanford I. Weill, 2000, Ambassador Felix G.
> Rohatyn, 2001, Elie Wiesel, 2002, Mortimer B. Zuckerman, 2003, Hon. Edward I. Koch, 2005, Hon. George P.
> Shultz, 2007, and Sid Lapidus, 2008.

I can say that Peter sure has made Cirque a lot more interesting in recent years, and is a really fun guy.

Perhaps someone knows just what Peter's contribution that he was awarded this for might be? Again, I am merely passing this information on and have no other confirmation of it. I am hoping that it is not a put on of some sort.
