Hi all,

Mike Howard here. I was the head builder for Medici Bicycles. What sounds like a good idea is not really a good idea here. While the bike will still be ride able this conversion will change the entire geometry of the bike and change the ride characteristics. Putting the longer fork lifts the head tube up changing the head and seat angles, and raising the BB. Not by much but enough to change the entire intended ride.
