Thanks Nels. I was meaning to be more specific to the example of Grandis shown in the listing from Charles. I should have been more clear that the one in my future was also SL, very similar detail etc (different paint) to the one in the ad. I was wondering if that level is considered to be a well crafted, well designed and well respected bike relative to the general ilk of Italian bikes talked about here. I should have elaborated that more clearly. Certainly, larger builders make/made a wide range of product, Bianchi, Olmo, Legnano etc, but for the most part we discuss the higher end of their lines here. I was just looking for opinions from other owners or previous owners etc. Didn't mean to paint with such a wide brush.
