The Selematic appears to be the work of a truly deranged mind. Here's a page on it with a link to a patent application with exploded drawings:

It is neither electric nor automatic, being purely mechanical, controlled from a wishbone thumb shifter mounted on the handlebar via what looks like a push/pull arrangement communicated through a wire and appears to embody the worst possible way to attempt an indexing drivetrain. More photos here:
