Howdy, all-
I found an Ideale saddle that I am unable to find on either of the vintage French websites that I know about- a Mod.41, with black steel rails and som e really neat perforations along the bottom edges on both sides. (It also h as grommeted strap holes for a seatbag). I think I saw this saddle in " The Data Book', but since I can't find my copy of that book, I don't know f or sure...if anyone can shed some light on what era bike this saddle would be appropriate for, I would be very appreciative.
I also have a 7-speed Campy freewheel for sale or trade- 13-23, BSC thread. Very smooth, the 2nd & 3rd position cogs show some use, all other cogs show almost none. Pix available on request. Comes w/ the plastic case, b ut no box. $185/ shipped in CONUS. Or- trade me something interesting....I need the following items for various projects-
1) Super LJ rear mech, silver, NOS or almost-NOS 2) 40-hole BH 'Racelite' rear track hub, 1- or 2- sided, very good or bette r 3) Titan track or road bars (40cm or wider, if such a thing exists!) 4) Track chainring w/ 49mm BCD (T.A., Stronglight) 46t-50t preferred, but o thers also considered). 1" pitch worth bonus points! 5) Dura-Ace "AX" brake lever hoods- NOS only, prefer gum but other colors w ill do. 6) Dura-Ace "AX" brake caliper set- do not have to be perfect; just pretty! (good pads helpful also) 7) Medici decals for my 'Gran Turismo'
If you have any of these items (but don't want the Campy freewheel), contac t me anyway- cash, or other trade offered.....
Finally, the vintage page for my new shop's website will be online within 1 0 days (Honest!)...between opening a new business, getting pneumonia, and m y partner's recent passing, I am running a bit behind on all fronts.
Thanks,
