I've successfully SEWN a gum hood back together. I found some tan thread, and sewed many, many stitches (without much skill, I might add), and it has held up very nicely for the last year or so. All my attempts at gluing have been a mess. The stitches are visible, but they're better than a torn hood. Adam Hammond Toronto, ON, Canada
