In answer to my question about lights on TA racks, Jan suggested a fender eyebolt. I had a few of these lying around, but this use hadn't crossed my mind. The 5mm diameter--mine are from Velo Orange--exactly matches the rack, and the attachment is secure. Proving once again the eternal wisdom of E.A. Poe: that the best place to hide something is in plain view.

You use an eyebolt (as used to attach French-style fenders). There was a Rebour drawing in Bicycle Quarterly a few years back...
Anyhow, the eyebolt attaches to the L-shaped arm, as it does to a fender stay. Then you use the threaded part of the eyebolt to attach the light.
